(Antifungal, Women’s Health)
Diflucan (also fluconazole) without prescription is the original name of the antifungal drug from triazole group. It is widely used in the treatment of diseases caused by fungal infection.
Its active ingredient has the ability to inhibit cell metabolism in fungi by binding and inhibiting the specific substance – cytochrome P-450, included in a large number of enzyme systems of fungal cells. The human body also has this substance, but the selectivity of Diflucan (Fluconazole) in relation to it is ten times lower.
